Terms and conditions

1. Definitions

   In these terms and conditions, "the casino" refers to Casino Coquitlam, a land-based gaming establishment operating within the province of British Columbia.

2. License

   The casino operates under license from the provincial government, subject to relevant laws and regulations. The casino may not offer any games or services that are prohibited by law.

3. Minimum Age Requirement

   Only individuals who have attained the age of 19 years (or such other age as required by applicable law) shall be eligible to enter into transactions at the casino. Evidence of age will be requested on demand from management and/or security personnel.

4. Identification Required

   The casino may request identification or verification from any person participating in gaming activities, including but not limited to: a government-issued photo ID card, driver's license, or passport. Failure to provide such information shall result in exclusion of the individual from participation in gambling activities.

5. Player Self-Exclusion Program (SEP)

Casino Coquitlam participates in Player Self-Exclusion Programs that allow individuals to temporarily or permanently self-exclude themselves from gaming premises and online services. By signing an SEP agreement, players consent not only to refrain from participating in any activity prohibited under such program but also agree not to enter the casino premises.

6. Time-Out Requests

The casino offers time-out requests as part of its responsible gambling practices. Upon receipt of a formal request, all gaming accounts will be locked for a period agreed upon by both parties and cannot be accessed during this time frame. The player remains liable for any pending winnings or obligations during the locked-out period.

7. Responsible Gambling

The casino shall ensure that it maintains a responsible gambling environment, complying with relevant provincial regulations and guidelines on responsible gaming practices. Players are encouraged to gamble responsibly and within their financial means. Any signs of problem gambling behavior may lead to an intervention by casino staff or other authorities.

8. Dispute Resolution

   Any disputes arising from the terms and conditions shall be resolved in accordance with applicable laws, with jurisdictional rights lying solely within British Columbia courts.

9. Liability Waiver

Participants acknowledge that they are aware of and understand the risks associated with gaming activities at Casino Coquitlam. By entering any game or participating in promotions offered by the casino, each individual acknowledges waiver of all claims against the casino for damages resulting from losses incurred during gambling activities.

10. Withdrawal and Closure

    The casino reserves its right to suspend account access until satisfactory verification is provided. In case of dispute or suspected fraud, Casino Coquitlam may delay payment or deny claim payments as necessary and in compliance with applicable laws.

11. Gambling Loss Limit

Participants acknowledge that they will not exceed their maximum intended bet level at any time during the gaming activity.

12. Withdrawal Request Processing Timeframe

    The casino aims to process withdrawals within 3 business days of receiving a request but may take longer depending on individual circumstances and the required documentation for verification.

13. Promotions Offered by Casino

Casino Coquitlam shall not be liable for any discrepancy, error or dispute arising from promotions offered through its services. Casino Coquitlam retains discretion in awarding prizes or benefits associated with said offers as it deems fit within terms of these policies.

14. Confidentiality Agreement

    In compliance with Canadian Federal and Provincial Data Protection Regulations (PIPEDA & PIPA), personal information collected will be treated confidentially by the casino, though participants acknowledge that such data may need to be shared for regulatory purposes or to facilitate gambling transactions as required under gaming laws and regulations.

15. Termination of Services

The casino can withdraw services at its discretion without prior warning. This includes but is not limited to withdrawal of game options, bonuses, promotional events or VIP offers. Management reserves the right to change rules, terminate games, modify the structure of existing bets or discontinue offering particular activities if and when necessary.

16. Notification

    The casino shall provide electronic notification where possible but is not liable for any failure in receipt due to service interruptions or participant settings preventing such messages from reaching their intended recipient(s).

17. Jurisdictional Compliance

These terms are governed by, construed, and enforced under the laws of Canada and British Columbia (including applicable regulations). Each party agrees that jurisdiction shall lie solely within Canadian Courts and hereby consents to be subject to their jurisdiction.

18. Waiver Provision

    No failure or delay on behalf of the casino in exercising any right granted hereunder will operate as a waiver, nor effect any variation or relaxation of these terms.

19. Acknowledgment

By entering into a gaming activity, using promotional services, and/or providing personal details to Casino Coquitlam, each participant acknowledges having read, understood, accepted and agreed to all clauses within this document. In case of dispute over interpretation of said policy, the version maintained on casino premises (paper or digital) will prevail.

20. Copyright

These Terms & Conditions are owned by Casino Coquitlam Casino Company and its affiliates, subject to applicable laws including copyright protections under Canadian Copyright Act.
